Native Americans

This experience covers the tribes of the Northwest, Southwest, Plains and Eastern Woodlands. Lyrics are put to popular music such as: Old Time Rock and Roll, Shreck theme song, Mambo #5 and many more. When you put these rhythmical songs together with some movement, even your toughest kids will have a great time!

Northwest tribes built totem poles and lived in houses of wood.

Southwest natives farmed and made pottery.

Plains people lived in teepees and hunted buffalo.

This kit comes complete with CD tracks of music with lyrics for learning the songs, lyric sheets, tracks with no vocal for performance, narrative print out and children's speaking parts are also included. Ideas for easy stage sets, props and costumes are also included.

Northeast tribes hunted the woods and lived in longhouses.

Native people taught the early settlers how to farm and hunt to survive in the new world.

Northeast tribes fished the rivers and sea coasts.

This subject matter fits best with the 5th grade curriculum study of native American tribes but can work for any age group with this emphasis.
